Speed up your Android smartphone – 5 Excellent Ways

For the popular Android smartphone to run smoother, the simplest way is to “sacrifice” the effect of the operating system.

Although the performance of each device depends largely on the hardware configuration, but with these tips, you can somehow get a “tonic” to speed up your Android smartphone with low configuration.

Turn off Screen Animation and Animated Wallpapers

If you want your Android smartphone to run smoothly, you need to understand your needs for shiny or flashy speed of the user interface. Since a highly configured interface demands more memory, it needs to be customized.

To help alleviate the burden on the limited hardware, the simplest way is to disable wallpaper (Live Wallpaper) as well as other animations, on-screen menu effects, unlock screen features etc.

The choice of regular static wallpaper instead of Live Wallpaper is recommended on most versions of Android.

In addition to turning off the animations, users should only install the most commonly used and basic applications in order to speed up the Android hardware devices. This is because most of the applications are installed on a special memory called ROM, which has limited capacity and cannot afford to upgrade or expand.

Turn off automatic synchronization, high-speed data network connection

Today’s most popular smartphones are equipped with 3G, Wi-Fi, and GPS etc in order to increase their ability to connect to the user. However, if you regularly use these features, your Android device not only becomes slow, but also consumes more battery power. In addition, the automatic updates in the background also contribute to the increased burden on the system with low configuration.

Turn off the connection when not in use

Therefore, this feature should only be enabled when needed. You can disable / enable these features via the “Power control widget” simply and quickly on most of the Android versions.

Free up RAM to Speed up your Android smartphone

With Android operating system, an application that has been activated and closed by the user will only end, once the application process is freed completely from RAM. This helps to restart the application every time you need to be faster. However, with the low-end smartphone, saving the application will consume a significant amount of RAM, causing the machine to run less smoothly.

Some suggest that the release of RAM completely by the end of this application is a bad habit. However, in the case of RAM, limiting capital equipment while increasing application data “ballooning” is often a nuisance. In addition to freeing up RAM manually, you can use applications such as Android Booster or Watchdog Task Manager if the ROM’s memory capacity is in “abundance”.

Remove Unnecessary widgets

The different widgets on the Home screen or the different screen interface of the smartphone also somewhat affect the performance of the device. Since Widget is an application, more and more applications mean more wastage of memory resources.

To contribute in “offloading” the low-end smartphone, simply remove the unnecessary Widget from Home Screen interface as well as the screen interface of the operating system. This not only helps the smartphone run smoothly but also makes it easy to manage or arrange the widgets on the screen.

Remove the pre-installed applications

As mentioned above, most of today’s smartphones are preloaded with its applications. This causes annoyance especially when the memory capacity is limited. However, you can remove these applications from your system with the help of apps like Titanium Backup and Root Uninstaller easily. These two applications are compatible with almost all versions of Android.

Must lock an application on Android 4.0

With the Android operating system version 4.0 or later, users can easily block a pre-installed application by selecting “Settings Apps All”, then select the name of the application to be disabled, press the Disable button, then OK. However, disabling the application does not completely remove the application from ROM. Therefore, if you want to delete this application, you also need the help of one of the two tools mentioned above.

I hope these 5 tips on how to speed up your Android smartphone with low configuration have helped?
